2025 Log & dead entry fee

1st place: £100 cash, trophy, 6 month membership to strength shack

2nd place: Certificate, supplement stack worth £100

3rd place: Certificate,  supplement stack worth £50

Novice categories: You are only eligible for this category if you have competed 2 or less times and haven’t placed. You ARE NOT eligible if you have competed and podium placed OR competed more than two times. Entrants will be checked and if found to have lied be immediately disqualified with no refund.

 

all male contestants will be weighed the morning of the comp to ensure they are in the correct categories.

 

2 weeks before the event you will receive and athlete pack detailing the run down of the day and any information you need will be found in there. 

 

Competitor t shirts will be emailed when available to order 3/4 weeks out for those that wish to order them.

 

Spectator tickets will be available on the day and cost £4.99 each. 

 

RULES:

 

Winners of each category are determined on max log + max deadlift. 

 

Log press:

Grip tops and wrist wraps allowed

60 seconds from entering platform to lift.

Must not be dropped from top position - hands on until the log is back on the pads

Lifts must be locked out with head through and feet planted.

 

Logs / weights:

 

Mens novice under 100kg: 40kg

Men’s novice over 100kg: 40kg

Men’s open under 100kg: 80kg

Men’s open over 100kg: 80kg

Women’s novice: 40kg

Women’s open: 40kg 

 

Warm up logs will be provided - 30 / 40 / 60 / 72 kg

 

Deadlift:

ALL straps and belts allowed - NO SUITS

60 seconds from entering platform to lift.

Must not be dropped from top position

Lifts will be using Rouge calibrated plates / deadlift bar

 

General:

It is your responsibility to know the running order (announced 2 weeks out) and be ready / warmed up for your category being on. We will not allow anyone extra time to warm up / make it to the platform. You have 60 seconds from when your name is called.

 

All athletes must attend registration at 9am on the 26/7/25 at the above address.

 

All lifts will be signalled by the referee. Follow their lift / down signals. Failure to do this will result in a no lift. Referees call is final and cannot be disputed.

 

You must treat the site with the upmost respect. We will have a designated talc / chalk area outside the building, please use it.

 

We kindly ask that any food and drink purchases are made on site. We will have both hot and cold food, snacks, shakes, pre workouts, energy drinks etc. These sales directly help us run these events and make them bigger / better the following year. Any purchases made on site are hugely appreciated :) 

 

We cannot offer refunds on entry’s but will digressively work with you if circumstances are understandable to give back something to a similar value. If you cannot attend please let us know as soon as possible so we can amend the running order.
